Description
Hello!
Please note that this is just a prop and not a working gun.
I used to play smash bros 64 when I was a kid and I allways liked the look of Fox's blaster in that game. I got reminded of that while working on a different star fox related model.
I found some pictures from the old game and got a frame where the blaster was clearly visible and modeled it by using that as a reference. I added some minor tweaks to the design but overall the design is pretty faithfull to the original version from Super Smash Bros 64.
I allso used the original logo from the game and added it to the gun as a little detail.
As you can see the blaster is different from a few modern iterations of the game:
The gun is printed in 2 parts which snap together with a few hexagon dowels.
The prop doesn't need glue to be connected, but it is still recommended to get the flush surface where the middle line wont be visible.
Please note, the model on the pictures is practically identical to the model provided with a few differences.
While holding the gun I noticed the bottom grip was in the way and holding the gun was uncomfortable so I removed it. Everything else is pretty much the same and the print should print exactly how I got it.
Printing options:
I added a regular single colour print profile as well as a print profile for AMS. I sadly do not own an AMS, but from my experience with my other models this print profile should print without any issues.
Options for A1 mini are also included, they are scaled down to 95% of the model so that it all fits the plate.
Print settings:
This is my first try at replicating any sort of gun model so I hope you like it!
