Description
I've downloaded and printed 3 different risers from Makerworld, one had janky overhangs for a light strip and supports into every nook and cranny that killed the print trying to remove them, another was so fragile it broke trying to assemble the sections together and the third just didn't quite fit right. I ended up taking all the best points I was looking for and designing my own. This is a little taller than others which gives good clearance for the PTFE tubing and I can slide the lid forward on the P1S and X1C without hitting the LCD even with an AMS on top. I can me easily cool down the chamber if needed or service the print head without having to disconnect and remove the AMS or lid. The simplest strongest connectors (I used a drop of super glue during assembly for added rigidity) I could find and minimal, clean, straight flat overhangs for easy support removal. I used support interface material which gave me a flawless finish to the overhangs. It doesn't have light strip support as I use and can recommend the Panda Lux, its does the job for me is inexpensive, well bult and real easy to install.
