Description

Greetings fellow adventurers.

Whether you need an emergency d4 or a quick little extra to put in a celebratory card for a fellow DnD’er, the “D4 kitcard” has you covered.

This d4 (V1) measures approximately 17.5mm on the edge.
The print profiles with frame have been optimized to provide a clean and easy break between the pieces and the frame. Due to this it is recommended to let the print cool off before removing them from the buildplate.

Assembly Instructions (no glue required):

The joints of the pieces feature a slight dovetail design and require a bit of pressure to push into place. Once assembled it is not recommended to disassemble again.

1. Carefully remove each piece from the frame.

2. Gently bend the faces of the both piece inward.

3. Move both pieces into eachother as shown below and first connect one side and then the other, making sure the numbers in the corners align.

And there you have your new D4!

Options:

In the print profiles you will find the following options:

  • duo color with frame
  • single color with frame
  • duo color no frame
  • single color no frame

Materials:

All these were designed and printed with PLA.

Comments on previous kitcard dice have pointed out that PETG has good results as well, and mixed results with ABS.

Additionally PETG doesn’t leave the fold lines you get with PLA.

This does require some further testing, so if anyone tries it with PETG or other materials, please leave a comment.

Upcoming:

Smaller d12 and d20 are in the make for a uniform “full dice set” kit card.
