Desk hook (Spring mechanism)

This is a Remix of my Desk hook Clamp. this is a Spring mechanism version. same dove attachments

 

Assembly for the spring clamp

 

Step 1: insert part 2 of the clamp first

Step 2: place the spring in the end cap part.

the Spring i used for this one is about 9.6mm in diameter and 31.2mm long (3/8 in x 1 - 1/8 in x .041in according to the homedepot)

I used the medium one of this pack.

 

 

Step 3: insert the end cap part with the spring like so

 

Step 4: secure it with the wedge (i know. but its my favorite method of locking something in place 😁)

Note: i might look for a smaller spring. this one is a bit bulky for my taste.
