Peg Perego / Milwaukee M18 conversion mount

We modified our kids' Peg Perego toy jeep vehicle to run on Milwaukee M18 batteries rather than the stock Peg Perego battery. This offers a few benefits:

• We always have many M18 batteries charged.
• M18 batteries provide constant voltage, thanks to being Lithium based. Our Peg Perego battery degraded after a year, leading to the vehicle running extra slow and dying more frequently.
• WARNING! Running the toy vehicle at full M18 battery voltage is unsafe and could result in injury!
  • Please use the motor speed controller to reduce the voltage coming from the M18 battery to approximately 12 volts (around 60% rotation on the knob).

This design includes a battery mount that screws into the existing battery mount holes and includes a sled for the motor speed controller that attaches to the mount with magnets.

• Motor speed controller
• 30A fuse: Install this between the battery and the motor speed controller.
• M18 battery mount with leads
• Peg Perego wire harness with 40A fuse
• 10x2mm round magnets
