FOR YOUR REMIX!

I saved a TON of space by putting a wire spool rack UNDER my desk instead of on top!

The only problem was keeping the wire spools from unraveling and staying tightly wound.

The solution are these “Cable Grippers” which screw to the bottom of my desk and dispense and hold wires and sleeving, allowing me to quickly get perfect cuts on my cutting mat.

If you don't have an AMS system, you could use this to keep some types of filament stored under your desk and run a bowden tube to your print head.

I used self tapping screws (#8, 5/8") to attach them to the underside of the desk, and (10mm OD) rubber bands to increase holding power, but these probably aren't necessary. They seem to hold my wires fine without.

Assembly is pretty straightforward, but the rubber bands do make it annoying if you plan to use them. They ride in the gaps on either side of the rollers:

I didn't use supports or brim for the little parts either:

There is a video about this on my Youtube channel, NotFromConcentrate.

Peace and thanks!
