his is an improvement to my original switch. The original had an issue where heavy trains could sometimes move the switch themselves. This system is an upgrade that helps prevent this by locking the switch in place. Naturally a child will be able to move the switch, however a train won't.

 

A 3 path switch is also available.

 

Naturally this has small parts and is not suitable for small children.

 

Assembly steps.

1. Place the mechanism on a surface facing up.

    

2. Insert the arm into the mechanism.

    

3. Place the mechanism in the track.

    

4. Insert the switch into the mechanism.
