Halloween Fidget Pen Ghost edition

This is a challenging print. Please make sure your build plate is clean and free of grease and oil before printing. Although it’s not happened to me, there are reports of it failing near the end of the print. If this happens to you, your build plate isn’t as clean as you think it is. Good luck 🙂

Another fun Halloween themed fidget pen that uses a simple Bic pen ink insert, this time featuring a cute happy ghost, It makes a satisfying sound as it spirals up and down the pen shaft, just add a BIC pen from here.

The print profile contains 4 happy ghost pens in multicolor print, one of which will be used as the purge object to reduce some waste, but I think it looks cute too.

You can print them in just one color by using the same filament for both colors.

Prints great with in Basic PLA. Print in place. Not all filaments are created equal, if the Bic insert doesn't go in, use a 5/32" or 4mm drill bit to enlarge the hole to be the perfect size for the inserts. Not all filaments require this step.

There's a print profile that has the ghost and pen on separate plates, if you're having adhesion issues, give it a try! And it allows you to print the pen in another color, making it an even more interesting pen! The idea is that you print the ghost first and then pause the pens at layer 420 to insert the ghosts and then resume printing. This also allows for a brim that actually touching the pen and help it stay on the build plate.
