Description

Remix Details: Utilizes the case body of the original Tecknishen design. This wall mount allows for a direct drop in of the ESP32 in that case body.

--------- DESCRIPTION ---------

The back side of the wall mount has a countersunk hole that will fit most dry wall screws used in the USA. 4.5mm diameter hole for the screw and 10.5mm diameter for the screw head. There is no Voronoi design on the back as you will not be able to see it. This decreases print time. I originally thought of putting the screw hole over where the WiFi chip will likely rest. However, it's not as interesting to look at and wouldn't provide noticeable performance differences.

Recommended Print Settings

------------------------------------------------

If you're unsure what settings to use I've provided a probably fine setting (left side of ‘or’) and an overkill setting (right side of ‘or’).

  • NO SUPPORTS
  • 3 or 5 Walls
  • 2 or 5 Top/Bottom Layers
  • 15% or 25% Gyroid Infill
  • If Possible Inner/Outer/Inner Wall Order (looks better)
  • 0.20mm or Variable Layer Height (which may introduce striping like on the shown model). I recommend decreasing the layer height for the area where the posts meet the bottom of the wall mount to ensure the fillets print with more strength. This doesn't shouldn't matter for the assumed use case.
  • Use whatever filament you like. I used Co-Extrusion ABS-GF25 Filament from Qidi Tech as I think it looks good.
