EDIT: NEW 2025 MODELS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU SEE ANY ISSUES, Thank You
This week (October 18, 2025) i finally got my hands on a printer that had the tight left side so i was able to make a model that fit properly. Please let me know if anyone experiences any fit issues!!!
I was tired of getting grease on my arms when working in my X1 so I made a cover to snap on and also magnet holes in 10mm and 5mm for attaching it to the metal along screw to keep it in place. I have both 10mmx2.5mm and 5mmx3mm magnets so I made holes so I could stack 2 5mm or use a combination of singles and the 10mm magnets. Pictures are of a P1P which has the same setup as the others models.
I have added the third piece into the print profile that connects the 2 sides together across the bottom and also serves as a ramp to get debris out of the bottom very easily. This makes it a great fitting assembly. MAGNETS ARE NOT NEEDED WITH THIS RAMP VERSION
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS
About 1% of people have printers where the table is mounted a little farther left than normal, Please read the instructions and print the model that is right for you, before you leave me a bad review because you had an issue on the left side.
One person sent me a picture where their table was right up against the cover, they had almost no room. this is just an assembly variance that isn't a defect, it's just how it was assembled at the factory.
There are 3 variations of the left side: EDIT Please see 2025 models for the latest
Normal - for when there are no issues with the table being over too far
Thin - for when there is not much room for the guard to fit in between the bearing guide and table
Cutout - for when there is no other way because the table is just too far to the left
Please Reach out to me if you have any issues! Thank you for looking at my models.
