Description
This is a simple challenge coin display I threw together for a buddy that wanted to display his many military coins. There are some other good ones out there, however they were all a bit too small in the number of coins they could hold. I designed this one to be substantially larger than the others I found.
UPDATE 1/27/2025: I have added a deeper top row, with a taller back, per user feedback. I have also added 2 additional sizes within each print profile. The sizes are now 6, 8, or 10 rows, with 175mm and 250mm widths for all 3 row variants.
UPDATE 2/26/2025: I have added an additional option called (deep row). All of the rows are ½" deep each. This is on plate 4 of the printer-respective print profiles.
UPDATE 3/28/2025: I have added an additional option called (8 + 2 Deep Row). 8 of the rows are the standard depth, and the 2 top rows are ½" deep each. This is on plate 5 of the printer-respective print profiles.
UPDATE 4/7/2025: I have added an additional option called (10 + Platform). 10 normal rows (with the top one being deeper to accomodate thicker coins), and a 2 inch platform at the top for large, non standard objects. It features a lip that prevents objects from falling off the rear. The lip does not eat in to the 2" platform depth. This is on plate 6 of the printer-respective print profiles.
UPDATE 5/14/2025: I have added a “1 Dual Row”, and it is just like it sounds - a 1 tier, 1 row model, for more modest collections. It features a deep, generously sized row (12.7mm - 1/2"), with a 4.5mm (0.17") row laid in to the floor. This one will accommodate thick or thin coins, on a single display. This is on plate 7 of the printer-respective print profiles.
UPDATE 10/21/2025: I have added a single coin display, great for filling small gaps in your collection with a single coin - It is now on its own MakerWorld page to align with it's separate intended purpose. I have also been testing the print orientation, and found that the units print much more reliably, and with less warping chance in a vertical orientation. I have adjusted all of my profiles to print most variants vertically. I have also added larger sizes for the H2S.
UPDATE 1/25/2026: I have added 5 additional styles! Including a 12 row model, 3, 4, and 5 Dual row models, and a 5 standard row model to each print profile, in their respective widths.
