SciFi Grenade - Light Up Functional Prop - Mig86

This model is a fun SciFi inspired grenade. I plan to print a few and paint them out in a number of different schemes.

There is a functional lock pin and handle. Pull the pin and release the handle, the body extends, exposing the liquid filled core which lights up.

Electronics are pictured, fairly simple. NC Push switch is wired into a Lipo and charge board, powering a 24mm LED PCB. All were purchased through AliExpress. Recharge is via USB C.

The central Acrylic tube is glued together with plates at each end. I have included the SVG for laser cutting, as well as jigs to ensure the alignment of the holes at each end.

I filled the tube with dish soap and left a little air cavity, this allows you to shake it and get some captured bubbles.

The model has lots of threaded inserts and uses various screws and springs. You will have to work the exact sizes out yourself.

Everything printed was done in Bambu Matte PLA at 0.08mm with minimal supports on a an X1 Carbon.
