Wavy Slat Lamp Shade

Change “Slice gap closing radius” and “Resolution” to default- if you are having long slice time. Those 2 settings can be found under ‘Precision’ in the ‘Quality’ tab. 

Keeping these settings as they are (my profile) will result in smoother arc movements AKA smoother circular faces.

The lampshade I designed and 3D printed has a modern, sleek aesthetic. It features a series of evenly spaced vertical slats that curve smoothly around the central bulb, creating a visually dynamic pattern. The material and design give it a lightweight, almost translucent look when the light is on, allowing a soft glow to diffuse outward while casting subtle shadows. The slats create an interesting play between light and dark, enhancing the sculptural feel of the piece. I love how it combines minimalism with a touch of elegance, making it both functional and a piece of art.
