Da Vinci Tank

Leonardo da Vinci's fighting vehicle, also known as Da Vinci's Tank, is one of the conceptions of the revered Italian polymath and artist Leonardo da Vinci. Sometimes described as a prototype of modern tanks, Leonardo's armored vehicle represented a conical cover inspired by a turtle's shell. The covering was to be made of wood and reinforced with metal plates. Slanting angles would deflect enemy fire, similar to sloped armour today. The machine was powered by large cranks operated internally by four strong men. The vehicle was equipped with an array of light cannons, placed around the perimeter.

Instructions

The first step is to print out all the parts and clean them up.

The next step is to insert the wheel and lock it with a pin.

Then insert the drive. You need to exert more force (you can use tweezers, for example). If you want to have a working gear you need to get the gears moving

Repeat the previous two steps for the remaining drive units.

Then insert the beams and glue it. They need to be inserted with the chamfered end up and the flat side forward (towards the next hole in the floor)

After inserting the beams, insert the nest (with the opening towards the hole in the floor) and glue it.

Then insert the ladder (longer side up) and glue it.

Next, add cannons around the rim and glue them.

To assemble the roof you need to glue roof 1 and roof 2 together. The parts need to be rotated appropriately (the two beams on roof 1 are higher and there are 2 holes in roof 2)

Then assemble the lower part and the roof. These assemblies do not glue. As in the previous step, you need to rotate the parts appropriately (In the Base part, the 4 beams are higher and in the Roof 2 there are 4 holes).
