Quick Release System | Camera, Phone, Mic, Tripod

This is a common quick release system for cameras, microphones, phones or anything else equipped with a standard camera screw ¼ inch.

 

The plate (red part) is a Slik 6252 tripod plate, measures 40x30mm

 

I started modeling this since I needed another plate for my Slik Sprint Pro III tripod, so it's compatible with that, then I thought that I might as well design the base and the locking mechanism too.

 

You'll need a threaded insert ¼ x 20 for the base and a screw/locking nut.

The hole on the lock is round (not hexagonal) on pourpose, so it won't come undone when locking/unlocking.

 

Material: print in PETG/PLA+/ASA
