Magnetic 3D Marker Scanning Tracker Dot

A 3D Marker dot to be used with a 3D Scanner. Easy mounting on magnetic surfaces/flat surfaces. Reduces waste/cost of always disposing of markers after a single use.

Most materials will work fine, I would recommend the support on the underside but if you are confident in your overhands you may be fine without.

 

I added a little chamfer to the bottom so it's easy to remove. The small magnets give you a good hold without being impossible to take off or move.

What you need besides the print (per dot):

• 1x 10x6mm Reflective Markers (example 1000pcs from Aliexpress)
• 1x 4x1mm Diameter Magnet (got a bunch for cheap from Aliexpress)
