Inspired by u/bringmedavid s Reddit post for their Ender 3 V2 enclosure https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/NG5MuPpwxt with some modifications made to some of the parts and size difference to accommodate my V3.
My original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ender3V3KE/s/J1Xeihcn1V
I decided to add a small side door for easy access to the touch pad which turned out to be a great addition to have after using it a couple times. The transparent acrylic sheets were cut to size using a circular saw and bolted onto the structural corner brackets and mid-brackets. The brackets were fastened to the 1 wood boards using an assortment of wood screws and a power drill.
The wood boards are 1"x1" cross section composed of lengths qty. 4x - 30.125" for the vertical, qty. 4x 19.375" for the sides (left/right), qty. 4x 18.125" for the front/back.
All bolts are " bolts with nuts, and with " washers. All screws are either #4 for small holes or #8 for larger holes.
The acrylic sheets OD are 19.25"x28" for the sides, 18"x28" for the back, qty. 2 - 8-15/16"x28" for the two front door panels. The clearance is designed to be 1/16" all around between the acrylic sheets and the wood boards when assembled.
I recommend to use a circular saw to cut the acrylic sheets to size and a power drill for fastening screws and drilling holes for bolts. I used an Avanti 5-" x100T Carbide blade for my 5-" circular saw and the cuts came out perfect. Use a contractor's grade masking tape to cover the acrylic sheets on the parts where it's to be sawed/drilled into. I used a standard carbide steel drill bit, but you will need to drill very slowly otherwise there is a chance the acrylic will crack if drilling too fast. I also recommended to mark with a marker the location of the drilled holes and first drill a 1/16" pilot hole before attempting to drill the larger hole for the " bolts. I used a 3/8" drill bit to give myself some room for error. Washers are recommended when fastening the bolts to increase surface area contact.
