Description
This is a very easy and quick to print flower that can fold into a 3D one! It can be used for decoration or to attach to the ribbon of a present.
Print the first layer 0.2mm height, then remaining layers 0.1mm layer height
Use 100% infill
If there are quality issues, slow down the print to silent (50%)
When taking off the build plate, make sure it is completely cooled down, don't scrape it off hot or it will come off warped and look bad
Fold each petal one after the other (fold the next one to the right/left) and make sure to push each hole onto the pin when folding. Try not to crease them.
You will have to hold them all down in place before you put the pin cover on.
Then put the pin cover on, making sure to align the nubs on the bottom with the slots in the pin.
Lastly, twist the pin cover left to tighten and secure it in place.
DO NOT twist it with pliers, only use your hand or the pin will snap.
You can scale this on the X/Y axis, but I do not recommend going any smaller than the 60mm one as the pin will not work.
Do not scale on the Z axis (up and down) as it will affect the thickness
There is a version of both 60mm/90mm that have a base you can thread ribbon through.
Enjoy! :)
