Xbox Series X Piggybank

Xbox Series X don't get much love.

I love it and because of that i made a replica of a Xbox Series X as a piggybank that can also be used as a storage box, if you prefer.

Assembly is easy and glue is necessary for some parts only. The Controller the image is real and used as a method for comparing sizes.

 

It's sized at around 18cm and it's relativity quick to print, if you think about the overall size.

There's not much to say about this project. The only difference from the original Xbox Series X is the top, rounded in part, but in the end it would need lots of supports and the quality was just not there (trust me, i printed 4 to test the quality). Also, visible quality will depend on the filament you use and speeds. In the provided profile the speed is slow for the outer walls and i prefer Bambu PLA Basic instead of the sunlu pla i printed. Results may vary, maybe a matte black would be better or even a carbon fiber pla.

 

Changing settings in the profile is not advised. There are certain settings that are meant to print all parts as they should. Just a heads up!

 

 

Assembly Instructions (refer to the image if needed):

• The green tile goes inside the top grill. Apply glue if needed (advised)
• If using as a piggybank, glue (if needed) the top part to the Xbox body. If using as a storage box, leave the top unglued and just open whenever is needed.
• Apply a bit of glue where the Power Button will go. Press fit the button.
• Check if the bottom cap thread is free. It should thread without any problem.
• Have fun with your piggybank
