SUMMARY
Here is a file full of various words and decorations for those letter boards. Currently, I have a birthday set, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Happy New Year, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Happy Spring, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, and Welcome Fall. I believe I've covered all the major holidays. If there's something specific you'd like let me know. Each model is properly labeled in the print profile in the plate name. If you have a request for a holiday or decoration let me know. I can't promise I'll be able to make it but I can do my best. The print profile is for a 0.4mm nozzle which works well. If you have a 0.2mm nozzle and want to change the print settings that will allow you to go smaller if you want to scale the items and provide a little more detail. There's an important note about scaling below.
PRINTING NOTES
Make sure you have a clean build plate when printing. I've been using Magigoo to help with bed adhesion for parts with small print surfaces. It works perfectly. So if you have bed adhesion issues check it out. You apply it to the bed about once every 8-12 prints so it lasts quite a while. I've also tried to tune the color profiles as best as possible so you don't get any color bleeding but you may have to do a little manual work there depending on the filament brand and colors you use.
SCALING
You can scale the models however the “pins” on the back that hold the model to the letter board cannot be scaled. You have to use the cut feature in the slicer and set the height line to 3.01. This will cut the pins from the model.
From here you can scale the model to the size you'd like. If you have a 0.2mm nozzle you can go fairly small but if you have the 0.4mm nozzle I'd advise not going too small. Once you've scaled it to the size you want, you'll have to move the pins back into position. Make sure you use the move feature in Bambu Studio and not the free move by just clicking and dragging. Get the pins so they are barely touching the back of the model. Then select both the pins and the model, right click and select merge. Finally, be careful not to scale the model too small because the pins won't fit or line up on the model.
If you have any issues printing please let me know. Otherwise, enjoy!
