Ok back to the clear as glass PETG notes….
You must use a smooth plate! Textured plate will not give you transparent bottom layer. The best results I found were when using the clear holographic plates I have. The Bambu smooth PEI plate left a semi-frosted bottom layer, so it was not ideal.
To get very clear prints, the most important thing is that it is printed very slowly, small layer height and the exact same pattern on each layer at 100% infill.
this works well with simple objects, less so with complex ones.
You can likely minimize lines even further by playing with the extrusion rate in the filament profile.
To apply this to your own models:
Edit the 0.1mm fully transparent petg project profile (the save button) and resave as a user preset (with a new name)
Now you can use these again for other prints. Just remember, depending on what you are trying to print, it will need to have the exact same pattern on each layer at 100% infill.
