Tips for printing:

• Filament: PLA
• Supports: No!
• Layer height: 0.16mm(0.15mm) or 0.2mm
• Wall loops: 3
• Infill: 15%
• Seam position: back
• Wall generator: Classic
• Detect thin walls: No!
• Brim(Multipart): Use only brim on the eyes if you have problems with adhesion! Don't use a brim on the other models! 
• BuildPlate: Smooth (Textured Build Plates not recommended!) Use a build plate that you know has good adhesion!
• Info!!: Do not scale the Crab any smaller otherwise the connections will no longer work!
• Info!!: If you apply too much force to the legs they may break because the connections are small!
• Info!!: Please be careful when removing the Crab from the print bed!

• PLA Matte / Red
• PLA Matte / White
• PLA Matte / Black

Or decide for yourself which colors and how many you want to use!

 

ℹ This model is very filament wasteful please keep that in mind! When you decide to print my multicolor Pre-Sliced (3mf file) I would recommend printing several models at once, not just one, to reduce waste!

ℹ New multicolor version (12.07.2026) (3mf)! This model is no longer pre-painted in the slicer – you can now freely choose which color goes where directly in your slicer for a better look and easier handling!

(Quick tip: identical colors next to each other won’t work – always place different colors side by side to avoid potential issues.)

 

You can now print the crab in multiple Parts! I made a little assembly guide:

1. Press the left and the right eye into the guide and glue them on

2. Glue the inner_eye_left and right peaces on

3. Finished!
