Description

Dry up to 7 spool desiccant canisters at once in a filament dryer!

  • Print in ASA, ABS or PETG to prevent the part sagging upon heating.
  • You will need two pieces of the same. There are finding features that align the two pieces, and one central desiccant holder will lock them together.
  • The external dimensions of this is based on a Bambu reusable spool and will fit in the AMS as well as all filament dryers (that I know of).
  • If you are buying indicating silica gel beads, the orange beads are the non-toxic ones and the blue ones are the toxic ones.
  • Leave an air gap in your filament dryer to let the moist air out when drying.

Please feel free to upload print profiles for any of my uploads - for various printers, materials, etc.

The desiccant PACKET holder I use in the pictures is here. This has a fine thread so they clamp the Bambu spools quite tightly - making “spool shims" unnecessary when refilling your spools.

The desiccant loose bead holder I use is here. Note that this remix has holes on the sides of the tube (among other changes) to make drying easier when they are outside of the filament spools - this is the primary reason I made the remix - to make drying easier.

If you want a loose bead holder specifically for Bambu spools, check out this one:

That is all, happy printing!
