Prototype Model Description: Tool Adapter for Older Hitachi Models Compatible with Makita Batteries

This prototype adapter has been designed to enable the use of Makita batteries with older Hitachi tools. The model is constructed from durable PET-G plastic to ensure strength and longevity.

The adapter features 1mm thick metal plates as connectors, which are soldered internally to the original Hitachi battery connectors. The upper part of the Hitachi battery housing is carefully removed and integrated into the adapter, maintaining proper alignment and fit.

The metal plates are securely fastened to the adapter using shortened screws, while the entire assembly is held together with screws repurposed from the original Hitachi battery. This design provides a stable and reliable connection between the Hitachi tool and Makita battery, extending the usability of older tools with modern power sources.
