Ultimate Warrior Lightbox

This is a lightbox is based on the mask of the Ultimate Warrior. This would look great next to any type of wrestling collection. Any wrestling fan would love this.

 

Anyone who only has one AMS, the best idea to be able to do this is to delete the eyes so that the print gets done without the eyes. Then print out separately a small 2 layer white square big enough that you can cut out 2 white eyes slightly bigger than the eyes on the lightbox, then glue them in making sure that the glue only makes contact with the black on the mask, this way you won't see the glue outline when the light is on.

 

Remember to remove the purge line. This is because of the size of the lightbox and the angle it is set at on the build plate.

 

I've already added holes to the back plate but you can just remove these by deleting them if you don't want them.

Putting the lightbox together

 

I tend to use aluminium tape for the back plate, this is so it can reflect the light better. I use super glue and an activator spray, but i am very careful to watch how much super glue i put on it, if there is too much then it can dribble over the edges and when it dries it will cause a white mark. I tend to use these lights 5V USB Led Strip Light SMD 2835 50CM 1M 2M 4M 5M White/Warm White/Red/Blue/Green IP21 Flexible Lighting Ribbon Tape Backlight - AliExpress 39 in the lightboxes i do. When putting the lights in, try and keep about half way along the wall, too far back and it will get in the way of the back plate when you glue it in place, too close to the front and the effect with the lights wouldn't be as good.
