Compost Bin with Lid Options

I made some customizations to this compost bin and thought I should share my Remix. My family really likes the bin because it looks good, strong design, easy-to-use-handle, and top is removable with one hand.

Here is what I modified for this Remix:

• Split across 4 plates
• Alternate top with no hole
• Profile optimizations for strength and top surface quality
• Basic multi-colour setup with the bottom being light and top being dark.

If you want to use a 40x40mm charcoal filter, then print this model only at 100% size - otherwise the 2x5mm round magnets will not fit. If you don't need the filter, then print with the “Top No Hole” plate and feel free to size however you want. I found 90% was a really nice size for our kitchen.

Assembly:

The top part can glue onto the top edge part. However - I prefer leaving them unglued and the top edge always stays on the bottom, only the top part comes off when you open the bin. See one of my photos above.

I have used Duramic PLA+ Marble for the base and Duramic PLA+ Black for the top.
