After seeing and being inspired by many other super cool dice towers, I wanted to design something completely different, but still super easy to print. The result was this floating dice tower.

By printing the tower on the back and connecting the "stones" and the castle with chains, I was able to achieve the illusion that the tower is floating on a cliff in the air.

The entire model is designed to hardly require support at all. The only support used is for two of the windows and requires a minimal 0.68 grams. Yep! Pretty crazy for such a large and yet complex model.

Furthermore, I chose to draw three brim points there to ensure that the top of the towers does not rise from the bed. You can easily cut these off when the print is ready.

Boost MeI LOVE BOOSTS! But who doesn't? I think this is a great way to keep quality files free and far away from any paywalls. So if you like my designs, feel free to give me a 🚀 It keeps me going!

Printing instructions

If using premade profile

Print and enjoy <3

If slicing by yourself

Print the dice tower on its back. This minimizes the need for support. Consider using some support for the two side windows. Nothing else should be necessary. If you got trouble with bed adhesion, either use the attached brims or split the object and add your own.
