Description

I asked chat gpt what to put as the description. For your enjoyment, here it is:

This captivating 3D-printed solar system fidget spinner beautifully illustrates the celestial mechanics of our solar system. With a vibrant yellow Sun at its core, each planet from Mercury to Neptune is represented as a rotating ball, orbiting in precision-cut tracks around the Sun. The planets are color-coded and named, creating a stunning and interactive educational tool. As you spin the device, the planets seem to dance in their orbits, providing a mesmerizing blend of learning and relaxation.

Ok really though, it's a fun demonstration of the planets in our solar system in the form of a fidget spinner. Great fun for the home, classroom, or anywhere. Help the little ones - and yourself - remember the order of the planets.

There are 2 versions of print profile:

With AMS Profile:

  • ONLY 8 Filament Changes. Very efficient utilizing print-by-object.
  • Super convenient, everything prints on one plate.
  • Example print for this can be seen in my pictures that have the planet names in different colors.

Win Non-AMS Profile:

  • Can still be a 4+ color print
  • The solar system backdrop has a PAUSE added before the planet names start printing. You can unload and swap filament during this pause!

  • All other objects or on different plates for color printing.
  • Example print for this can be seen in my pictures that have the planet names all in the red color.

Assembly Instructions (quite easy):

  • The little planets can just be pressed into their tracks. To make it a little easier, flex the base plate a little bit to open up the grooves (will work even if you don't)
  • The sun in the center must be glued in place.
  • That's it, you're done!

**If you have small children who may choke on toys, consider not including the sun as it may break off and become a choking hazard**
