• Rummikub was designed and invented by Romanian-born Jewish man Ephraim Hertzano in the 1940s.

• After the game begins, players need to make an "initial play," where the total sum of the numbers in the played tiles must be 30 or more, and no jokers can be used (in some rules, jokers can be played along with other tiles if the other tiles' sum is at least 30).
• After the "initial play," players can continue to play tiles as long as the tiles on the table remain "legal." The tiles on the table, including those played by other players, can be freely split and combined.
• If a player cannot play any tiles, they must draw one tile from the common pool and pass the turn to the next player.
• The game ends when one player has played all their tiles. If the players cannot form "legal" combinations with the tiles on the table within a specified time, they must place the unfinished tiles face down back into the common pool, draw the same number of tiles from the pool, and add three penalty tiles.
• When all tiles in the common pool are taken and no winner emerges, scoring mode begins. The remaining hand tiles' numbers are summed up (jokers count as 30 points), and the player with the lowest total wins.

• 若无法出牌，则需要在桌上的公用牌里摸出一张，并将出牌权让给下家。
• 游戏以最先出完手牌者为胜。若在规定时间内未能将桌面上的牌组成“合法”牌，则需要将不能完成的牌数字朝下放回公用牌，并从公用牌里摸走相同张数的牌，还要加摸三张惩罚牌。
• 当所有的公用牌都拿完仍没有出现胜利者时，则进入计分模式。将所有剩下的手牌数字相加（百搭牌算30分），数值最小者为胜。
