I'm back again bringing your desk, table, night stand, or wherever you prefer, another adorable themed zen garden! This project was a blast designing and I'm sure you will love it just as much as I do!
I have included both a full AMS version and non-AMS version! The non-AMS version is almost identical with the main difference being for the snowman. Unfortunately, there was not any good and consistent way to do the snowman's eyes, nose and buttons a different color without the AMS. Luckily, all it takes is a very small and quick dab of a paint brush!
I also designed this so there are NO restrictions to which printers can print this. Every model is compatible with no additional re-configuring :). However, I did include a second option for the sand box (larger version) which is not compatible with the A1 Mini (I'm sorry!!).
And there you have it! PLEASE post your pics of your prints and let me know how you like it :)
Some important notes regarding the print/assembly are listed below
- All Print settings should be set and good to go. You should not have to change anything! Everything was VERY meticulously tested and printed multiple times
- When printing the tree, you may get a warning to use supports. DO NOT use them! It is intended to print as-is!
- Assembly does not need any non-printed parts, unless you count glue as a part. I recommend gluing the pieces together to ensure secure assembly
- The tree ornaments do not have any specific way to hang them (they were too small to reliably print hooks). I simply glued them onto the tree
- Be VERY careful when removing supports from the shovel(s). There was no way to print this without supports and with it being a fairly thin piece, patience is key to removing them. I should add it is not hard to do, just requires a delicate touch :)
- The “spiral” can be a little odd to figure out how to get together, but is actually very easy. Simply insert the bottom of one spiral into the top of the other and push it down/through until the bottoms line up. Then just install the cap!
- For the sign, print the two layers and glue them together and then glue onto the “spiral”
- I DO NOT recommend scaling parts as these were all designed to a very specific size. Scaling may affect how pieces fit together (try at your own risk)
- Final rule. ENJOY!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
