Description

This small rain guard has been designed to cover electronics outside and provide a small amount of protection from rain and snow.

There are 4 profiles for this design, they are:

  • 130mm wide by 36mm high and designed for a 3.5mm Screw.
  • 130mm wide by 36mm high and designed for a 4.5mm Screw.
  • 90mm wide by 20mm high and designed for a 3.5mm Screw.
  • 90mm wide by 20mm high and designed for a 4.5mm Screw.

All profiles have a depth of 80mm, see below on how to shorten the depth.

How To Resize Depth On Rain Guard

The following works for all rain guards, by default they have a depth of 80mm, which in some circumstances may be too big, to cut it down to size you select the object within Bambu Studio, select the cut tool, by default at this point it should be a horizontal cut, specify the height (depth when mounted) and then click the “Perform Cut” button.

Please note it may be easier to check all “Keep Orientation” check boxes.

After performing the cut, select the piece you do not need, then you should be able to slice and print as normal.

Simple to print, I could create other sizes if required, drop a comment.

This model is part of my 12v System collection.

Enjoy ;-)
