MountaiN Slot Magpul Buttstock Sling QD Mount Spacer

Using a mlok rail qd mount, some m4 bolts and nuts, you can now add a quick detachment point for your sling to your Magpul MOE stock.

The 3d printed piece acts as a spacer and to increase surface area, the weight and the forces are carried by the M4 bolts, stock, and the mlok qd hardware. The mount is very sturdy and a whole lot cheaper and easier to find than the commercial alternative. Can be put on either side of the stock, but note the piece is tapered so it only fits one way.

However, it is still plastic and should not be used in self-defense situations - but it is better than nada.

PARTS LIST:

1x mlok qd mount (works with the two no-name branded ones I had in the bin-- holes 4-5mm diam. 20mm apart on center)

2x M4x25mm hex bolts (30 mm Dremeled down also could work)

1-2x M4 washers diameter <9.5mm (only one will fit for me, if you have smaller Outer Diam washers you could be able to use two- one for each bolt)

2x nylock nuts
