Christmas Advent Calendar Santa is Coming

Me too Haha :) But wouldn´t it be Cool to see how Santa Clause comes Down the Chimney, a little more every Day?

Every Day you pull out a little Bar Piece out of the Chimney. With each Pull, Santa comes down a little bit more. On the 24th Day, Santa falls out of the Chimney, right in the Fireplace so he can get the Presents under Your Tree. I loved the Idea to Make Santas arrival more Visible for the Kids and let them see some Progress and make waiting Easier. So, let me Introduce you to its Features:

 

Features: The Advent Calendar Includes 40 3D Printed Parts (24 of them are of course the Daily Pulled Barpieces). You need no non 3D Printed Parts. The Model, if Printed the Way i did, needs 10 Colors in Total. I designed it in a Way that you can Print it with one AMS only. Also, i reduced Printing Time by Designing it in a Way that you can Snapfit some Parts. So, it is Possible to Print them Multicolor laying on its Flat side without having a Colorchange in every Layer. The whole Model wheighs around 850 grams in Total.

 

a little “do it Yourself Projekt” for you and your Kids to Build and enjoy afterwards :) You can also Print it completely in white and Paint it by Yourself, no AMS needed and its a even more Fun Projekt for the whole Family

 

Easy Build because of Labeled Parts: I also Marked the Parts which need to be assmebled with Letters, to know which part goes where. I didnt do this for all Pieces because i Provide a litte Buildinstruction in this Section here. So, feel free to assemble it with my following guide.

 

Just follow the Markings on the Parts to assemble it. Not all Parts are Labelled, Please follow the Building Instructions below. I think its easy to

Build and Selfexplaining :) Be Carefull to not Push too Hard on the Outriggers, they can Break because of too much Pressure.

 

Interchangeable Heads to mount on the Slider: If you dont like the Santa in the Chimney, i added some interchangeable Plates to Choose your Favorite. There is Santa Clause of course, a little Present, a Reindeer Head and a little Crate to put Money or sweets in, to mount it on the Slider. So, choose your prefered Plate and have Fun using it.

Storagebins for used Pins on the Back: 24 Pins to Pull out is nice, but where to store them During the using time? I also thought about that and Placed two Storage Containers on the Backside of the Model. You can Pull out one Bar a Day and store the Used ones directly behind the Model. They are not visible from the front, so they dont Interrupt the unique Look from the front but can be reached easily if needed.

Different Socks which you can repaint by yourself: To give youre Advent Calendar a personal Touch, i designed 4 Socks that can be modified if needed. I painted them with little Pictures and Basic Christmas Designs. Edit them to get your unique touch. Also you can add Names on them if you like. I Provide 4 Different Socks in my Model, if you Like them as they are you can Print them in this way.

 

Repaint them in the Colors you Like, it is also Possible to write some Names on them to give it a really Personal Touch.

 

Building Instructions: Step One, Put the side Panels in the Mainbase. Its a snapfit, just push them in and youre good to go :)

 

 

Step Two: Push the Base in the Floorplate, thats also a Snap Fit so just push it in and it fits tightly.

 

 

Step Three: Put the Chimney together. The Sidepanels are the ones with the 24 holes in them. They are Marked with A and B. The Same Markings are in the Chimney Sliderail which is also the Back of the Chimney. Please dont Push to hard on the Outriggers, they Could Break. Also make shure the Supports in the Holes are fully removed.

 

 

Now with the Two sides mounted, Put the Front Plate with the Big holes on it.

 

 

Step Four: Place the Chimney carefully into the Base. It needs to be pushed in all the way. Its a fairly tight fit

 

 

Step 5: Place all 24 Rods in the 24 Holes on the sides of the Chimney. You can see in the Pictures where which Rod goes.

 

 

Step 6: Choose youre desired Plate, Santa, Reindeer, Present or the little Crate and snap it onto the Slidingmount.

 

 

Step 7: Put the mounted Plate with Slidingmount into the Chimney from the Top. The Cutout in the Slider fits exactly onto the First Rod. After putting it in, Mount the Roof and thats it :)
