Bambu X1C/X1E/P1S/P1P Top Glass Riser with LED strip and switch

This is a remix of a remix of a remix….

I printed his design and used it for some months and was pretty happy with the result. Until the day, in my effort to print successfully ABS and ASA, I covered the printer with a blanket and overheated it to the point that the part (PETG) deformed, shrank and stuck to the glass!
Then I decided to improve it to my likings and print it again.

The 2 things I changed, are:
1. I added a slot on the top back of the part, so when I open the top glass, I can rest it at about 90+ degrees against my wall without sliding down. Please have a look on the photos to better understand my goal.
2. I added a slot on the left side to add a small switch for the led strip. Also, I created a channel to connect the led strip to the switch.

I'm providing the rear left and right parts that were modified, the rest you can acquire from GamingFaxe's design.
I printed the parts in clear PETG with the standard 0.20 profile, adding normal support from the same material.

I'm using a 24V led strip in 4 parts, connected together. The switch is then connected and from there is ends up inside the printer to the original 24V power supply. Between the LED strip/switch combination and the PSU, male and female RCA plugs were connected in order for the riser to be able to be disconnected and removed easily.
You don't have to power the LED from the internal PSU, you can power it with an external PSU or even from 5V if you use a 5V LED strip, it's all up to you.
For the switch, I used the smallest switch I could find in my electronics drawer. 15x10 mm outside dimensions, about 11x8 mm to fit the square hole.
When everything is installed and tested, you can fill all the cavities with hot glue and make everything more presentable and stable.

I'm a total amateur in 3D design. I wanted to produce a functional part, quick and dirty. I started modifying the original stl file, so this was even more difficult. I know I could have made some things prettier, but it works for me and I'm satisfied. I'm sharing this with everyone that could appreciate it.
