I'm taking a break from Christmas ornaments for a day or two to have some fun with other holiday decorative elements.

 

Home Alone is one of my top two favorite Christmas movies of all time and I wanted something fun to put on my desk or on a shelf in my office. I designed this Home Alone sign to mimic the logo from the DVD cover. I struggled for the best way to present it and knew it need to have some depth so I settled on a tray in which all of the pieces can sit in while also completing the red line that is part of the logo.

 

To best limit filament purges I created it to print on two separate plates; one for each color. I'm still working on some alternate profiles but this seem to be the most efficient. In order to have the greatest accuracy to the original design there is a tiny little yellow rectangle that will sit recessed into the window of the house. It's a snug fit but it can easily be inserted; you may just need to use a pen or something pointed to fully seat it (assembly pictured below) to the 1mm inset depth

 

 

Fully setup this is approximately 11.5"W x 1"D x 2"H. If you skip the tray this will work on a A1 Mini
