Description
Make you own Christmas puddings with this model designed to eliminate filament waste found in typical multi-colour prints.
This model has 4 parts and is “printed by object” (i.e 1 colour/part at a time, not by layers) and with 0 flushing between colour changes all purged filament goes into the next part which is hidden when assembled. There is a small amount of filament (0.56g) extruded during loading of the next colour as show below, this can be eliminated by modifying GCODE - but is not something supported by MW.
If you printed this model as 1 peice / by layer it would produce over 40g of waste, require nearly 100 colour changes and take over 4 hours for a tiny model!
