Home Assistant Desk Mount – ESP32 + ILI9341

2.8" Touch Display Enclosure with Swivel Mount for ESP32 + ILI9341 – optimized for Home Assistant.

This 3D-printable enclosure is designed for a 2.8" ILI9341 touchscreen 
with XPT2046 controller connected to a standard ESP32 development board 
(e.g. ESP32-WROOM). It transforms your display into a compact Home Assistant 
control panel powered by ESPHome and LVGL.

The mount is optimized for under-desk installation and features:
• Adjustable swivel mechanism (tilt support)
• Clean cable routing and concealed wiring
• Minimal footprint design
• Stable, integrated appearance

The included ESPHome configuration supports two UI styles:

• Button layout – a clean lockscreen-style interface with large round control buttons  
• Tile layout – a modern smart-home-style grid with icons, titles and live status values  

The tile layout is visually inspired by contemporary smart home app design 
(for example iOS-style layouts), while using fully open assets 
(Roboto font + Material Design Icons).  

Perfect for building a dedicated smart home control panel 
to toggle lights, scenes, fans, and other Home Assistant automations 
via a customizable touchscreen interface.
