Description
i made this christmas baubles for my family and friends so i can personalisize them, the lithophene ball was made with itslitho with a picture i made in windows paint and i designed the caps to be put on top and bottom.
1 design is designed to put on the christmas tree garland lights , simply glue the pieces together and afterwards u can put the light inside the ball
and put the golden clamp on top.
the second one was designed to put in a balloon light (bought it from amazon) , glue the top and bottom to the ball , place the rubber inside the top shell
and slide the lamp inside (snug fit).
I atached 2 pictures the first one for the open ball , the other one with the small blue banner for the closed one. save the image and adjust them for your needs . i recommend to keep the overall size thesame.
print lithophanes with 99 walls or 99 % infill for the best results, i slowed the outer wall speed to 35 mm/s and the inner wall to 75 for quality
ball dimension should be 64 mm standard
for the open ball u should go to image options and go to the slider "zoom factor" and set this to 55-65 %
for the closed top ball u should cut 4 mm of the bottom to get better adhesion and make my caps fit.
tip: for the rubber piece arround the lamp pince it a bit together , push inside and push it with a pen to get it to the sides.
open ball https://tool.itslitho.com/profile/04d5d412
closed ball https://tool.itslitho.com/profile/841ea8ee (cut 4 mm off the bottom in the slicer !)
i noticed a small bug on itslitho , make shure u go to frame options-→ border and set it to none otherwise u could get adhesion issues.
Illuminate your personal pictures with this stylish lithophane bauble and create a personal touch for your christmas tree
enjoy and happy printing :)
I would love to see the creations of others, let me know how it went :)
