Description
This is inspired by Gridfinity Generic DevBoard Holder. I didn't need the half grid base, which slows printing time, and the tallest bin there is 3 Gridfinity units, which doesn't work for boards that have stacking headers, or breakout boards with taller components.
This is a customizable alternative, using Gridfinity Rebuilt in OpenSCAD as a starting point. The rendered STLs I've uploaded are all 4 units high, and have no magnets on their bases.
Print Settings
Use your normal Gridfinity settings, but be sure to select the Arachne wall generator, if it isn't default in your slicer. With the thin walls and tight spacing, this gives the best quality, while saving time too.
To Customize
For best performance, use the newest development build of OpenSCAD you can get, with Preferences > Advanced > 3D Rendering > Backend set to "Manifold (new/fast)". The preview will probably fail on larger bins, but render is extremely fast.
