XY Rear Panel Belt Dust Covers (genuine style)

Another belt dust cover for your Bambu Lab printer…

I wanted to cover the rear adjustment belts from any unfortunate interaction, keep as much dust out of the printer, and if possible keep the original style of the Bambu Lab printers that I like. I have seen some design that “worked” but they were always “closed” ones, and I am not sure that the printer will like the air-tightness in the long term.

So I made my own model, which translates into this :

• make a cover as low as possible
• small ridge added to help them pop into place and insure they will stay put
• keep the design key characteristics of Bambu Lab products : squared with rounded corners, because I like that!
• added round holes for venting, still similar at the venting for the electronic fans
• those drillings have a small upsweep to limit the dust ingress, without compromising the venting (LEFT/RIGHT identification added to put them at the right place, even tho you can reverse the assembly), totally over-engineered I admit

For those who like the design but prefer a closed cover, it is also available!

I have printed it in PLA as I do not see any temperature requirement here. It is possible to print it in PETG too but i wanted a matte finish.

Please note that I strongly advice to print it without any auxiliary cooling : this kind of shape (like an airplane wing!) can warp easily! Adjust your filament settings if possible :
