Description
Convert your old drill bits into a working self-feeding filament pelletizer! This model only requires 1 drill bit of either 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch size. Best to use when clamped to a table. Please consider supporting me seeing as I wasted quite a bit of filament, and it took me weeks on end to develop all of these parts. -Enjoy!
Boost MeFor assembly, please refer to the instructions below.
Number Guide
Start by removing all of the supports and sanding the bottom of gear 2 until very smooth.
Next, take body 1 and starting with gear 3 in the small hole, add gears 2 and 3.
Take the no.4 TPU sleeves and slide them onto the gear shafts.
Grab body 5 and clip the gears into place.
Take your desired drill bit and carefully hammer gear 6 onto it. Make sure to hammer it just enough that there are no grooves inside the gear.
Put the bit and gear into the assembly. Lubricant is not required but recommended. Now is the best time to apply it!
Put cover 7 on top.
Slide body 8 onto the drill bit and line it up.
This is the hardest step. Grab no.9 end covers and put them on with the grove on the back. Use a clamp to bind them together. These are a tight pressure fit.
Congrats! You have finished the pelletizer!
