There's a new version of the D5 Drone Flute with Native American Tuning

D5 Drone Flute v2 - Native American Tuning

Compatible add-ons:

Discover the joy of music with this pocket-sized Native American-style drone flute, tuned to D5. Measuring just 31cm, it’s perfect for on-the-go playing. Designed for 3D printing in two colors, it features subtle decorations and requires only 10 color swaps, keeping filament waste minimal. The model is split in 2 pieces, making it possible to print on most printers

The blocks are easily secured with rubber bands or better yet, leather strings, adding to its charm. Playing is simple and intuitive—every note harmonizes beautifully with the constant D5 drone. You can play a single flute or both at once for richer melodies.

Shifting the blocks higher and lower over the sound hole slightly changes the pitch and stability of the lower or higher notes, play around to find the perfect position. I think it plays best when the sound hole is slightly wider than it is long.

No prior flute playing experience required! It's really easy to learn the basics and play around!

Assembly:

Glue the 2 parts of the flute together with superglue and wrap the serrated ‘blocks’ over the sound hole with rubber band or something more classy. Shift them around until the flute produces consistent sound with all fingers holes covered and with only first and third hole from the top covered.
