Description

Christmas is the season of creativity – and what could be better than a self-printed Christmas tree inspired by a classic? This modular 3D-printed tree brings festive charm to your home, while AFOLs will instantly recognize and love its iconic design.

Inspired by the brick element #2435 (the classic pine tree), I created a modular version that can be easily adapted to your needs. This design minimizes the need for support material and even includes a variant inspired by the dual-molded look of Element #52211.

Material Recommendations & Printing Tips

  • Material Choice:
The model is optimized for PETG for its excellent finish, but it also works perfectly with PLA.
    • PLA Version
tree: Bambulab Basic PLA Mistletoe Green
white tree: Bambulab PLA Basic Jade White
      star: Bambulab PLA Silk Gold
      interface: any PETG
    • PETG Version
      tree: TEQStone PETG Green
      white tree: Bambulab PETG-HF White
      star: Bambulab PLA Silk Gold
      interface: any PLA
  • Printing Profiles:
3 profiles are available depending on your chosen material:
    • With support interface (e.g., PETG as the primary material, PLA for support).
    • Generic profile: Great for straightforward printing, especially without an AMS system. Use Bambu Handy or Bambu Studio to change the material.

Assembly & Setup

The assembly process is straightforward:

  1. Print each layer of the tree in the color you like.
  2. Screw the layers together.
  3. Use the provided end cap (with or without a cutout).
  4. Optionally, secure the star on top with a small drop of glue.
