Description
Christmas Advent Calendar
I had this idea and I started tinkering and modeling this last Christmas (2023), inspired by my son's love for the holidays.
Other than creating simple models, I really had not worked on anything beyond squares and rectangles.
This was a big challenge and an amazing learning experience for me. To go from something in my mind to actually making it work in 3D / Real Life. It has been quite rewarding and glad it came out well. My son pushed me to get it done in time for this season.
The progress. The original first test print was done on another printer, and it turned out great, but then I got to thinking about how to add images and numbers which put the project on the back burner.
I used 3 separate plates, and printed using a P1S and AMS and Textured PEI Plate.
The last challenge I was expecting to face was the nozzle size. The 0.4 blew my mind on how well the image details came through.

Customizing:
Images were SVG files but I had to convert to be able to upload.
You can still customize / replace the images and text if you wish.
My son and I would love to see your prints, variations and customization.
Thanks for taking a look at my model. Consider a boost if you enjoyed the final product.
