Description
I modified PaulBPunkt's model (that was based on Martin Rigatoni's model) of a flexi gecko so that it can be fitted with 4 round magnets in the feet (rather than central in the body) for even more options to position it like a real gecko that uses suction in his feet. I made the maximum size to fit my A1mini. I used tricolor silk filament that gives a chameleon like look. And I also remixed by adding 2 negative balls at the eyes so I could fit 2 shiny black 14mm ABS balls for the eyes which gives a great effect. I used mouse ear brims for better bed adhesion, remove it if you don't need it.
I used 2 6x3mm magnets in the front and 2 10x3mm magnets in the back but in the 3mf file the holes for magnets are still there as negative parts so you could change it to a size you have as long as it fits in the feet...The holes for magnets have 0,05mm tolerance, for my printer the magnets are able to be pressed into the holes with a little force and then hold without glue. If the holes are too narrow you can use a little heat. Or fix the magnets with glue if necessary.
Hope you like it, please share your makes!
