Description
resource-saving, only 34g filament, printing time 1h34 on Bambu A1,
easy printing without supports,, even on small printers with 180mm²
without gluing,
without screws,
without drilling,
without ball bearings,
no additional parts necessary,
low friction forces: Friction takes place on the inner ring of the spool. As a result, the tangential forces on the filament are much lower than if the friction were to take place on the outer spool ring.
I have not found another model that has all these advantages.
Using PETG is recommended because of flexibility.
There are two versions, a symmetrical one with 150 mm length and an asymmetrical one with 145 mm length and 15 mm offset. Take a look at the illustration.
The frame of both versions is available in one and two parts.
The one-piece version is only printable on the A1/ P1/ X1, so I have also designed a two-piece version that can also be printed on the A1 Mini.
The roller support is available in two different lengths. It can be an advantage if the roller support widens the can slightly.
There are also adapters for connecting a PTFE tube to round and oval openings. For the oval adapter, I recommend TPU as the material, as the seal in my muesli tins is not in the opening but in the lid. PC4-M10 quick connectors are required for this.
