The Bambelt V2

 

This is the updated version of my Bambelt model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/751465#profileId-708000

Now also fitting the A1 mini.

 

Some improvements got made

• Fully customizable in size
• Fitting all printers
• Optimized print profile for more strength
• Added holder links for adding your specific belt holder designs
• Damaged links can be exchanged
• Buckle can be exchanged → possibility to design your own buckle, or use one of my designs

 

The Files a splited up in sections, to reduce the time of assembling:

 

 

• Buckle (with or without Bambulab logo)
• Single connector link
• Single connector latch link
• Standard link 10cm (4 print in place links, the 5th one is a connector link)
• Latchpart + End part 10cm (1 end link with latch, 3 print in place latch links, the 5th one is a connector latch link)
• Connector pin

For finding out the needed parts, just measure your hip circumference.

As example in my case it is 102cm.

I decided to go for a belt length of 104cm without the buckle.

Following parts are needed to print:

 

1x Latchpart 10cm

9x Standardpart 10cm

1x adaptor part 4cm

1x Buckle

11x Connector pin

 

*Please note that the actual size is a little bit larger, cause there are 0,4mm gap between each link.

 

Assembling is I think pretty much self explaining.

You can add some glue for fixing the connectors, but it is not really necessarry, due they are holding quiet well because of friction.

 

Adaptor feature:

 

I created links for adding all possible belt clip devices.

Feel free to be creative and design whatever you need.

 

For a testing purpose, I created a quick and dirty holder for chocolate bars.

The adaptor piece Fusion360 file will be uploaded separately for allowing all kind of remixes, same for the buckle.
