RPG Dice Set Kitcard V1

Greetings fellow adventurers,

Following the numerous requests from my previous dice set kitcard, I present the RPG Dice Set Kitcard. This kitcard combines the 7 dice into one kitcard, designed to fit inside the average giftcard (kitcard is 15,7cm x 10,6cm)

 

The kitcard features a D20, D12, D10 (0-9), D10 (00-90), D8, D6 & D4.

 

Both print profiles (duo color & single color) feature the following variations in the buildplates:

• high frame - low frame - no frame:
  • high frame: modelled to be studier & allow you to split the kitcard into a seperate pieces for each die
  • low frame: modelled to save filament & time
  • no frame
• easy detach - normal detach:
  • easy detach: allows the pieces to detach very easily & clean, but makes it likelier for pieces to detach by accident (make sure to let the buildplate cool off before removing the prints)
  • normal detach: makes the attachment of the pieces to the frame a lot stronger, but the pieces require more force to detach (a cutter is recommended)

TLDR:

• if it's a gift & you want to make sure the kitcard stays in one piece, I'd recommend printing buildplate 2 “kitcard with high frame - normal detach”
• if it's for yourself & you want a clean set of dice, I'd recommend printing buildplate 3 “kitcard with low frame - easy detach”

 

Warnings:

• When printing the duo color, make sure your printbed is clean and you have good print bed adhesion. This is necessary for all the small numbers that will be spread out across the plate.

Materials:

All these were designed and tested with PLA & PETG (see examples below).

Some things to be aware of: PETG does not leave any fold lines as you get with PLA, but did not give me consistent results in how good it assembled. And for PLA you can remove the fold lines with a quick pass of a lighter. Just remember to be careful!
