My Remodel of Ge's “Build Your Own Jet Engine”
I've added a Cowl and an Exhaust Cone to the back of Ge's jet engine design, as well as adding an Exhaust Pin. This pin would go simply where the Rear Cone is inserted and add to the realism of a General Electric Jet Engine. These additions don't stop the model from spinning and it will continue to serve as intended, just with “appearance” additions.
I printed my models in Matte PLA at 125% and that's what the Raw Files will be opened as in BambuStudio, Cura, Fusion360 etc. It took around 11 Hours non stop file by file to finish. I printed it slower to avoid any flaws in the print but it all depends on your printer. YOU WONT NEED NUTS OR BOLTS to assemble this fully, glue is the only thing keeping the pieces together. I used a handheld wood burner and “welded” some parts together for added strength.
