OrbiFlora - A 100% Printable Lamp

Orbiflora is a mesmerizing 3D-printed lamp

where geometric leaves bloom in harmony,

casting radiant patterns that bring nature's elegance to light!

 

This 100% 3D printed lamp is designed with as less material as possible and only need a bit of support for 1 part!

You want need any screws or glue! All you need is an E14 or E27 bulb and socket.Thats the type i used:

Build Instructions:

Print the following parts:

1. 6 x Spline Even
2. 6 x Spline Odd
3. 12 x Leaf 1, 12 x Leaf 2, 24x Leaf 3, 24x Leaf 4 (the print profile tells you how often to print each plate)
4. The Vase, the Base E14 (ill add a E27 version), the Top Connector, the Top Cover
5. 2 x Cable Clip, 2x 10mm Clip
6. Pull the E14socket with the cable attached through the vase, this will not fit when the bulb is attached. I did not have a E27 socket at hand that i could try, i guess this wont fit through the vase. Here the cable should be pulled through and afterwards being attached to the socket. 
7. Screw the socket into the Base E14 or E27. The Socket should come with a screwing ring that you can attach from below to fix the socket in place. Screw in the bulb allready as it wont be screwable later on.
8. Insert the first Spline Even into the Base E14 or E27, then into the Top Connector. They clip just in place.
9. Repeat this with the Spline Odd in the next hole. Repeat with all Splines.
10. Clip the leafs into their slots. Start with the bottom row, then continue with the next upper one. From bottom to top in this order for each spline: 3 - 4 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
    1. The Spline Odd has one more Slot at the bottom that does not gets populated! 
11. Insert the base into the vase. It fits into the small holes. Turn it to keep it in place.
12. Position the cable into the outlet in the bottom, press the cable clips into place.
13. Insert the 10mm clips into the Top Cover. Use tongs to press the side that stands out a bit together, then press into the Top Connector.
